In my class we are making terrarium's and me and my partner Matthew are using dark ling beetles and we are seeing if our environment is good for our beetles. We also in our terrariums planted seeds and we have barley, radish, clovers, and peas our terrariums contains grass saw dust soil and plants and the beetles.
We have about 10 beetles in our terrarium and it turns out that they like the grass because they can hide under it because they don't like the light so they hide to be in the dark. We also found out that the beetles stay clustered together to saty away from the light and the peas in our terrariums grow the fastest wealso observed that the terrarium smelled really bad after keeping them in after a day.

This picture is a picture that shows you George the tree that has been there for years I can't even name how many years George has been there . This picture was taken when I was at fifth grade camp we were hiking at the time and we saw this tree Named George. George is a huge tree and is very old. That is me on the left hand side in the skull head sweat shirt. This hike was all about wildlife and what things live out in the wild. We saw trout fish on our hike passing the Huron river. My teacher told our group that about two years ago with his old class they saw two blue racer snakes when they lifted up a log. My teacher is Mr.Reed and he is the coolest fifth grade teacher. During dinner time at camp they gave the Bingo winners pop because we had night activity's. They made us breakfast lunch and dinner at the camp. Some groups had to set up for dinner or lunch or breakfast our chef Joe made some good homemade meals. We also had bunk beds and my teacher let us pick our own bunk buddies i picked my best friend but he moved to go bunk with his other friend Bo.

A few weeks ago my class made Foss planes. We tested different sized rubber bands and we found that the thick rubber band s goes the fastest. Me and my partner Alyssa tried all kinds of different of rubber band to see how many winds it would take to make our plane go half way down the string. My partner and I tried twenty-six winds and were correct. After that our teacher wanted us to try two rubber bands and he said try to get the lowest amount of winds possible to get the plane to go all the way across the string. Me and Alyssa got as low as 16 winds.

In the Foss plane experiment I learned that the thicker your rubber band the faster the plane goes and it would take less winds to get all the way across the sting than a smaller rubber band I also learned if you change a variable on a Foss plane you could really change your experiment Because me and my partner tried all kinds of rubber bands and we got different results for each rubber band we tried.
